Scale-Up system change

In this video we talk about the process of creating system change for extra-familial harm and what these new systems look like.

Over the last three years we have been working with ten children and families social care departments across England and Wales. We’ve been working with them to create child protection systems that can address harm happening outside of a child’s family. What we call extra familial harm.

But what does this system look like?

From three years to three minutes. This short video talks through what Contextual Safeguarding system change looks like. It starts with the 'journey' that children, experiencing extra-familial harm, make through the child protection system and then on the new processes for responding to harm in contexts.
