Strategic Engagement
Contextual Safeguarding is informing the development of policy, commissioning and legislation, as well as practice. To coordinate this activity we have set up a number of strategic groups who work together to implement the learning from our research projects into their sectors and organisations.
CS UK Advisory Group
The UK Advisory Panel meet twice a year to discuss the implications of a CS approach for policy, commissioning and legislative frameworks
Local Area Interest Network
The CS programme supports local areas who are developing sector leadership in Contextual Safeguarding in children’s social care via an implementation group and virtual interest network
VCS Collective
The Contextual Safeguarding VCS Collective is a group of voluntary and community sector organisations who are testing and developing contextual approaches to support and intervention
Academics Network
The Contextual Safeguarding Academics Network brings together research and teaching staff from universities - as well as some students - to develop an academic community of interest in Contextual Safeguarding
