Safety Mapping

Last updated: Wed 03, 2018

This safety mapping exercise was created to help practitioners identify areas of risk and safety in their local neighbourhood and can be used for safety planning with children, families and networks.

The exercise was developed by Simone Nyarko, a consultant social worker in the Contextual Safeguarding Team in Hackney; the exercise would thus need adapting, with relevant maps for each local area.
